2018년 6월 14일부터 9월 21일까지 강원도 영월군 동강에서 개최되는 제 17회 동강국제사진공모전이 열립니다. 

올해의 주제는 다음과 같습니다.

사랑을 말할 때

사랑의 표현 방법은 문화와 관습의 테두리 안에서 용인되거나 거부된다. 사랑이 모든 생명의 자양분인 것은 말할 필요도 없지만, 사랑이 그 힘을 발휘할 수 있게 하는 것은 ‘표현’이다. 사진은 사랑의 순간을 보여줄 수도 있고, 사랑스러운 눈길로 바라볼 수도 있고, 그 자체로 사랑을 표현하는 도구가 될 수도 있다. 세계인의 눈과 마음에 담긴 사랑에 관한 표현의 모든 것을 공모전의 형식으로 집대성한다.

1. 일반

목적

동강국제사진제는 전세계 작가들과 함께하는 축제입니다. 이번 동강국제사진제 공모의 목적은 작가를 지원하고 작품을 보여줄 무대를 제공하며 신진 및 기존작가의 사진작품을 전시하는 것입니다.

장소

선정된 작가의 작품은 동강국제사진제의 주요 전시공간, 스크린닝, 또는 야외공간에 전시됩니다.

날짜

2018년 동강국제사진제의 주요프로그램은 2018년 6월 14일부터 9월 21일까지 개최됩니다.

응모자격

2018년 동강국제사진제의 공모는 국내외의 작가, 단체 모두에게 열려있습니다.

제출마감

2018년 4월 30일 00시 00분까지 입니다.

응모비용은 없습니다.

2. 제출방법

필수제출

1. 작품 : Jpeg 형식의 디지털이미지 8~12점. 각 파일은 긴면 4,000pixel 이상의 파일

2. 이력서 : 이름, 주소, 이메일, 핸드폰번호, 간략한Biography와 작가소개서(PDF).

3. 작품설명서 : 400자 이하의 짧은 작품설명

결과공지

2018년 5월 7일까지 이메일을 통해서 선정된 작가에게 결과를 공지합니다.

홍보

선정된 작품은 동강사진전 웹사이트에 게재되고 인쇄 및 온라인 매체를 통해 진행되는 홍보캠페인에 포함됩니다. 작품은 동강국제사진제에서 제작되고, 작가와 협의 하에 전시됩니다.

We invite you to submit your work to the 17th DongGang International Photo Festival, to be held this year from 14th July to 1st October, 2018 in DongGang, Yeongwol, Korea.

 When We Express Love

Expressions of love vary between cultures according to their respective bounds of norms. The pure form of love is certainly the force behind all lifeforms, but it is the expressions of love that actually enables its application. Photography helps to extend the currency of love by either capturing the moments of its expression, viewing world in a loving eye or even generating an expression of love by itself. With this open call, we seek to compile all existing forms of expression of love through the eyes and hearts of the people around the world.

 Individuals and collectives are welcome to apply; individuals should select and enter between 8-10 photographs from a particular series or body of work. Artist of the year (individual artist or 1 team of winner) and between 10 and 20 photographers / artists will benefit from:

- Solo exhibition for the artist of year- the winner(individual artist or 1 team) will be eligible for travel and accommodation - production (printing, framing or related presentation material)- exhibition exposure at the Festival's main exhibition space/outdoor- inclusion in art magazine and any related press- long term festival representation and promotion on official website- publications/ catalog- being seen by a substantial number of visual arts professionals and the media- having their work viewed by an international panel of influential experts in the field of photography

​SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

1. GENERAL

Objectives DongGang International Photo Festival aims to feature a quality selection of photography projects from around the world. Festival’s open call is devoted to offering a platform and supporting photography, showcasing photography and related media from emerging and established artists.

Venue

The selected projects will be presented to DongGang International Photo Festival in DongGang in main exhibition space, screening or outdoor space.

Dates

The Main Program of 17th DongGang International Photo Festival 2018 will be held from June 14 to Sept 21, 2018

Eligibility

Submission to DongGang International Photo Festival 2018 is open to artists, collectives, galleries and organizations from around the world.

Entry Deadline

Submissions must be made before 30th April, 2018, 00.00 hrs. There is no entry fee for submissions.

Submissions must Include below

Photography works : 8 – 12 images, 4000 pixel (no the longside), jpeg file or tiff file

Any incomplete submissions will be rejected.

Upon receipt, an email confirmation will be sent to the email specified in the application form.

3. SELECTED PROJECTS

Selection

All submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the curatorial team of the Festival.

​Status Notification

All selected artists will be notified by email of their submission status by 7th, May 2018 at the latest.

​Exhibition

DongGang International Photo Festival will collect the digital files from selected artists and all production will be provided for the exhibitions.

Publicity

The selected projects will be presented on the Festival’s website and be part of the Festival’s promotional campaign in print and online media, increase awareness of the selected works in the photography community.
